Dr. Allie Goodwin, D.C., Dipl.Ac., is a chiropractor and an acupuncturist practicing in Austin, Texas.  She received a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2002.  Dr. Allie is a 2006 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic and received her Diplomate of Chiropractic Acupuncture from the American Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture that same year. She received her Board Certification in Chiropractic Acupuncture in 2010 from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Dr. Allie takes joy in caring for all people in all stages of their lives with a preventative approach to healthcare, however, her biggest delight is serving those who are pregnant.  Dr. Allie specializes in pregnancy chiropractic because she wants every woman to have the best pregnancy experience possible and an easy, powerful birth just as she did.  Dr. Allie is committed to helping mothers-to-be connect to their body and baby during pregnancy and birth. Dr. Allie is humbled and blessed to serve the women and families of her community and help them along the path of their birth journeys and in their motherhood transition.

Dr. Allie’s other passion is helping children.  In her practice, she has seen how chiropractic can help children with ear infections, colic, sleep issues, ADD/ADHD, autism, digestive issues, and a host of other issues without resorting to drugs and surgery and wants to spread this message to as many parents as possible.  Dr. Allie has extensive knowledge of essential oils, Chinese herbs and homeopathic remedies that are safe for children and enjoys educating parents and children about the effectiveness of these remedies combined with chiropractic care. 

Dr. Allie is Websters certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  She is a member of both the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the Holistic Pediatric Alliance. She is a Gold Seal Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator and is a BirthFit Leader.  Dr. Allie was nominated for Best Acupuncturist in the Austin Birth Awards in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.  Dr. Allie was nominated for Best Family Chiropractor in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and won that category in 2016 and 2018.
